Less than 1/3 of these animals will ever win a race. A lack of available copper, zinc and selenium in the diet of young horses is one of the main causes of bone problems in adult horses. Soil and herbage analysis has shown that over 70% of all stud farms are low in copper, selenium or zinc. Uniblock Horse Mineral Block was developed in conjunction with University College Dublin’s Animal Nutrition and Veterinary departments.
